Abstract
The paper is concerned with Gorky's personal and literary relations with Russian Futurists and with "the father of Russian Futurism", the poet and artist David Burliuk, in particular. Burliuk's letter to Gorky and the latter's marks in Burliuk's book "Tolstoy. Gorky: Poems" are published for the first time.
